
David
Noonan (b. Chicago, IL) David is a drummer/percussionist who
has studied and performed
music for the last twenty-six years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree
from the University of Massachusetts B.D.I.C department in Rhythm, Sound,
Culture, and Anthropology.
David has studied with Stone Montgomery and
Eno Washington (West African drum and dance), Robert Bryant and Bamidele
Osumarea (djembe ensemble), Boo Pearson (African Diaspora) and Joe
Platz (folkloric Afro-Cuban), among others.
David is a founding member of the
Equalites and has contributed to many western Massachusetts band's
recordings and performances.
