Peter Nabut :: Keyboards (b.
Manhattan, NY) Peter has made a life of music since the age of five.
Growing up on music of The Beatles, folk artists such as bob Dylan and
Woodie
Guthrie and singing in musical theatre, Peter has always sought to listen
to and perofrm music with a message. Starting out on Piano at age nine,
he moved on to guitar
and
other instruments early in his musical career. Peter is a founding member
of numerous Jam and Reggae & Worldbeat bands in upstate New York including
Natty Bumpo, Crucial Groove and The Bonedippers. He has shared the stage
with many of the greats such as Alpha Blondie, Culture and many others.
Peter has returned to his original instrument as keyboard players with
the Equalites.
Peter is also a singer & songwriter with a degree from Berklee College
of Music in Boston, MA. For the past two years he has been the resident
sound designer at The University of Rhode Island at Kingston theatre department. |
